Hi, I'm Orhan.

I am a visual storyteller and digital strategist based in Toronto.

 

My background is a blend of humanitarian discipline and creative freedom. Before moving to Canada, I spent over 10 years working within the United Nations system in Türkiye, serving with UNICEF, UNHCR, WFP, and FAO. My career evolved from IT Operations to Information Management where I learned that accurate data saves lives, but powerful stories change minds. This belief led me to complete my PhD in Communication Design.

After the earthquake in February 2023, my family and I relocated to Canada to start a new chapter. Since then, I have been working as a freelancer. I combine the technical precision of my UN background with a fresh, creative perspective in video and design. I understand the weight of a mission and the importance of getting the message right.

Off the clock, I am a father to Can and Kuzey, and a husband who feels like the sock that finally found its pair. I have been a basketball player since high school where Kobe remains the greatest of all time for me, and Robert De Niro is the king of the screen. I believe in sincerity over status and listening more than speaking. I might look serious, but I am usually the first to crack a joke. And yes, I still claim I can beat anyone in FIFA.

 

I am ready to bring my experience, my camera, and my UN DNA to a team that values both impact and creativity.
